Yesterday, I went to Zaragoza with my host family because my host father’s sister and mother live there. We left at 10:00 AM and the drive took an hour and a half. As soon as we arrived in the city, we could already see the cathedral, for which Zaragoza is famous, from the outside. We then went to the family’s house, where they welcomed us. We all spent two hours walking around the city together, and my host mother gave me a little tour, explaining some of the historical background of the buildings.

Then we went to the bridge, „Calle Puente Piedra,“ because it offers the best view of the cathedral from the outside.

Afterward, we also went inside the cathedral, but unfortunately, I didn’t take any pictures. Then we walked back to the family’s house and had lunch. The father took a short nap because he had to drive us all home later. Then, to end the day, we went to a shopping center in Zaragoza, which was especially nice because it had its own little lake and music was playing everywhere outside.

In the end, though, we were glad to be home again at 10:00 PM because we were all exhausted from the wonderful day.
