During our time in Spain we had the opportunity to join the 10th class on their school trip to Andalusia. We arrived in Granada on Sunday and spent the last two days there. On Tuesday, after breakfast in the hotel, we went back to the city centre and had a guided tour of the famous monuments and churches in Granada. We also went to viewpoints where you could see the whole of the Alhambra. After the tour, which was really hard to understand if you don’t speak much Spanish, we went back to the hotel and had lunch.
Then we got on the bus and went straight to the Alhambra. We had time to go into almost every building and let me tell you, it was amazing. I took so many pictures during our visit that my phone died. The buildings were fascinating with all the handmade decorations and the view over Granada was amazing. Luckily the sun came out which made the experience even better.
After the visit we all got on the bus and went to Córdoba. As the bus didn’t go straight to the hotel, we took a short walk through the city centre. We saw the Mezquita and some of the charming streets of Cordoba. After lunch at the hotel, we went out to a bar where we spent the rest of the evening. Around midnight we all went back to the hotel. The night walk through the city centre was also pretty cool, as it was different to the crowded streets we had experienced before.
Our third day in Andalusia was just amazing, so much to do and even more to see!
