On march 11th,our day started quite early. At 8 o’clock we had breakfast, which tasted very good – especially because we could eat churros in the morning. After breakfast, we had to hurry because our meeting point was scheduled at 9 o’clock by the buses. Our next destination was Córdoba, we drove for two hours until we finally arrived. The view was amazing: first, we saw the impressive city surrounded by a river. To reach the city we had to walk over an old bridge and through a big gate.

A few minutes after arriving in Cordoba we had a guided tour. The guide led us through the winding alleyways of the old town, where we saw many beautiful houses and it was stunning that almost all the buildings were painted white, which looked very traditional and bright. For lunch, we went to a restaurant with buffet, the food was very delicious. Later, we had two hours of free time and the opportunity to explore the city by ourselves. We really enjoyed our stay in Córdoba.

The day ended with a last tour through the mosque( spanish:mezquita-cathedral de Córdoba), which was originally built as a mosque in the 8th century, but it was converted into a catholic cathedral in the 13th century after the Christian’s conquered it.

When we walked back over the bridge to the buses,we saw a beautiful sunset behind the city.
We had a very great time.
