My first day of school

My host father drove me directly to school, where we received a very warm welcome from Pilar. Since the first period was cancelled, a kind classmate gave us an extensive tour of the school facilities and introduced us to several of our new peers. Later, we were formally introduced to the principal and the administrative staff. The latter part of the day included two periods of Latin, during which the class took a test, and PE, where we were immediately immersed in group assignments practicing a dance with our classmates. Therefore, we unfortunately haven’t experienced much of the traditional Spanish teaching style yet. However, I’m sure that that will change next week.
