A day in Granada

18 März, 2026

Last week on the second day of our field trip to Andalusia, we spent a very interesting day in Granada. In the morning we visited the Alhambra. The Alhambra is a very famous palace that was built many centuries ago by the Moors. It is one of the most important historical places in Spain and is known for its beautiful buildings, gardens and amazing views over the city.

The weather in the morning was not very good. It was a bit cold and cloudy, but the Alhambra was still very impressive to see.

After the visit we went back to the hotel and had lunch there.

In the afternoon we went back into the city for a guided tour. At the beginning it was raining, but during the tour the weather slowly became better.

After some time we had a beautiful view of the Alhambra from the city.

Later we visited a small church and walked through many narrow streets and small alleys of the old town.

At the end of the day we had some free time in the city. We walked around, explored the streets and enjoyed the atmosphere of Granada.

It was a long but very nice day.
